Interested in earning high school credit for your part-time job?
Your school’s Worksite Learning Coordinator and your worksite supervisor can help you to earn 0.5 credit for every 180 hours of documented paid employment.
If you are 16 years or older, are currently employed in a part-time job, and have taken or are currently enrolled in a Career and Technical Education (CTE) class where what you have learned in that class is directly related to what you do and use in your job, you are able to get high school credit for your work experience.
Once you’ve completed this form, your school’s Worksite Learning Coordinator will review your responses and let you know if you might be eligible for this opportunity. They will also work with you throughout the entire process to complete the required documents and to ensure your experience is positive and successful.
